Food Justice Task Force Project Partners

The following groups were foundational members of the Detroit Food Justice Task Force as it came together in 2009-10, making the commitment to engage in the generation, distribution and management of resources to build a long-term food justice movement in Detroit. Each organization has a vote in the consensus process by which the Task Force makes decisions. Because of the Task Force’s commitment to leadership from Detroiters, and because partners are making a significant commitment of time and energy, we take membership seriously. We have been and will continue to be transparent about the process by which groups (and possibly individuals in the future) can become a part of the Task Force as it grows.
